Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mixed sprouts (moong, chana, etc.)
  • ½ cup besan (chickpea flour)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green chili, chopped
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • Oil for cooking

Method:

  • Soak the mixed legumes overnight and sprout them.
  • In a blender, combine sprouts, besan, onion, green chili, turmeric, and salt. Blend into a smooth batter, adding water as needed.
  • Heat a non-stick tawa and grease it lightly with oil.
  • Pour a ladleful of batter and spread it into a thin circle.
  • Cook until golden brown on both sides, adding oil as needed.
  • Serve hot with green chutney or curd.
