Ingredients:

  • 1 cup moong dal (split green gram), soaked for 4 hours
  • 1/2 cup urad dal (black gram), soaked for 4 hours
  • 2 tbsp yogurt/curd
  • Salt to taste
  • Tempering: mustard seeds, green chilies, curry leaves

Method:

  • Blend soaked dals into a smooth batter with yogurt and salt.
  • Pour the batter into a greased steaming tray.
  • Steam for about 20 minutes until cooked.
  • For tempering, heat oil in a pan; add mustard seeds, green chilies, and curry leaves.
  • Pour tempering over the cooked dhokla.
